![]() ![]() The Blood-herb professional questers aim to prove that first point wrong, and that is one that's very easily solved (but not).īut that is the issue with the potions, because players use the market to save money in that regard. Your proposed solution also has a problem with the one thing you said is fine, because nobody with Djinn access would buy items through the market from someone who does not, if they don't make a profit from the trip just because the seller either does not have the alliance or is lazy. I think there are some issues, but I have no idea how to fix. Honestly while there is some pretty bad market abuse in some areas, it's a great asset in many others (who remembers "SELL BP UH, WILL TRAVEL" spam for hours?), and it's tough to strike a balance. A great specific example was the player posting a picture here recently with a bp of obsidian knives, and telling other players (maybe still lightheartedly) not to try and compete. Other issues come from things like quest items. That market itself is very interesting because high level players basically have incentive to sell their empty large flasks through the market rather than throw them away or make trips to a shop to cash out, and the buyers get what they want (a rare win-win in the market). Finally, this ruins the markets for items like empty flasks, which many players buy at equal or slightly less than deposit, simply for getting the lottery ticket addon. This will additionally have no effect on something like Tibia coins, which have additional purpose for players moving money between worlds easily. I understand your concern, but minimum prices will have very little effect on the supply-and-demand items such as those not sellable to NPC's (decoration, collectables, quest items) which can still easily be influenced by those with money or market knowledge. It's just to simple to exploit otherwise. THE FIX: We HAVE to put minimum prices, equal to the NPC prices, on market items.I myself just sit here and see the huge amounts of cash just rolling in, and I'm not even playing. However, here's the real issue: right now if someone overbids you, or you dont manage to buy the items from the market, you can retract all your money instantly and you're not punished in any way (except for the extremly small bidding fee), and you can then make a new deal with the same money or keep it.īecause there's now a way to get infinite money without risk, by always bidding your money, which removes all feeling for the game, especially for new and low lvl players. 1000 x of an item for a price that is lower than the items selling price at an NPC, and then you sell said item to the NPC for a profit. We all know you can exploit the market by buying e.g. Tibia Maps (by /u/mathiasbynens) Related SitesĪs most players know the tibia market is really easy to exploit, completely within the game rules, but under no pressure.
